Florida, that is… So I recently had the pleasure of spending another week in the Fort Lauderdale area, this time in Hollywood, Florida. I got to spend 8 days at the beautiful Westin Diplomat hotel, see beautiful hotel pictures below. In Case the Ocean isn’t enough…
Blue Lagoon? One of the great things about hotels with pools [...] So Fiesta is an awesome time to be in San Antonio. Last year I was there for Fiesta, and enjoyed the music, the parades, the cervezas, the medals, the whole enchilada, if you will. This year Fiesta rolled around, and I was headed to San Antonio again, but one week too late. Sad face. Oh [...] The thing about Disney World hotels, is that there are an awful lot of them. I haven’t stayed at all of them, or even 1% of them probably, but I’ve stayed at my fair share, most recently at Disney’s Coronado Springs. Coronado Springs is really more like a series of hotels that ring a small lake. [...] or Southwest does the Northeast You know that giant hassle you face when you’re flying into a big city airport like New York’s JFK, Los Angeles’ LAX or Boston’s Logan airport? Well you can now scratch Boston Logan off the list. (No, really you should do that to make room for adding JFK on to the [...] I like working in Fort Lauderdale, the sun, the sea, the warm temperatures. None of that was available to me earlier this month when I visited. The weather was foul and cold, with gray skies almost every day. But that’s not Fort Lauderdale’s fault. I blame the Illuminati and their weather control machine. There are no [...] Mostly I hate going to the Mid-Atlantic region, i.e., Baltimore-DC area. It’s generally a pretty miserable place, in my experience, no doubt made worse by the fact that I’m there for business not pleasure. Recently though I had an assignment that took me to our nations capitol, and though I dreaded being back in DC at [...] Let me start out by saying I like Las Vegas. I like all of it, the Strip, the seedier casino’s in the Downtown area off Fremont Street, the multitudinous Hispanic men and women handing out flyers for escorts… all of it! Vegas Marathon runners Christmas time in Las Vegas is just more of the same for [...] I recently had to spend a week working in North Carolina at the Charlotte Convention Center. Having no rental car, I was provisioned at the Hilton Garden Inn about 1 block away.
