Probably.
The Transportation Security Administration, better known as TSA, has come up with a new regulation that is going to make domestic travel in the US a lot safer.
Are you ready for this?
Your name on the ticket must match your name on the ID.
Yup. That’s the new rule.
Now of course the TSA’s agents have been checking ID’s and tickets since they opened their doors to the traveling public, on November 19, 2001. So my question is, what have they been looking for?
If the ID and the name on the ticket didn’t have to match until now, what was all the fuss about? (Actually this does kind of explain how my wife flew on her co-workers ticket by accident last year, but that’s another story).
So look out you terrorist goons! No more tickets in the name of M. Mouse, or I.P. Freely. Unless you’ve got the ID to back it up that is.
