When we travel, be it for business or pleasure, more often than not we’re going to an urban destination. For me, I like to be prepared both while traveling and upon arrival for unforeseen obstacles, but I don’t want to carry around a backpack full of “just in case crap” so I’ve condensed my urban survival kit down to these essentials. My kit is small enough to be contained in an old Altoids tin.
So what about you? Do you travel with any sort of Urban Survival Kit? If not, is there a reason, or just never thought of it? If so, what’s in your kit? Let me know in the comments please.

I don’t have one, and I certainly don’t travel as much as you, but I love the concept and think I’ll incorporate one and have it ready for my next trip. Have you thought about coming up with a version to sell to the masses? I bet a lot of people would be interested in one. Just a thought!
